When I'm walking by the water
Splish splash me and you taking a bath When I'm walking by the water Come up through my toes, to my ankles, to my head to my soul I'm blown away Dave Matthews Band, "Lie in Our Graves" Felt like drawing some feet, since I'm awful at drawing them. Plus it's always good to get some practice drawing water in, right? Lie in Our Graves has always reminded me of ARIA, and I've been meaning to draw something relating to it for a while. Akari's feet were drawn freehand with 0.5mm mechanical pencil, lined with Neopiko Fineliners and coloured with Letraset & Copic markers on A4 marker paper. White ripples and touch-ups are white-out. Akari & ARIA are property of Kozue Amano. Art is by me, inspired by "Lie In Our Graves" by Dave Matthews Band. Please don't steal/copy!  |

 reports, 1d 21h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I love the coloring for the ripples.
Tip? I suggest you don't use white out, I hear it turns yellow after a while.

I guess I'm not too bad at feet from the bottom like this, probably because they have a more slender shape, but drawing feet on characters from the front or side or with shoes or anything is horrible
Really? It goes yellowish? Never happened to me, but I hope it doesn't o.o I only really use white-out cause it's portable (or at least moreso than paint) - I've got a tiny white-out pen in my pencilcase. That and I'm awful at painting, lol. But I might give it a try on something in the near future
Its never happened to me either, I have white out too, but I've started to use my paint more.
I've seen white out turn yellow on some of my essays, maybe it has to do with how you store your art.
