At long last, an image of Weather up on DA!

I've been meaning to upload pictures of her for ages but never really finished any.. but anyway!

I've been playing around with different styles lately and since I have a biiiig problem with Stila I decided to try out drawing in the style of Caitlin Dinkins, the official artist for Stila Cosmetics. I've always liked the beautiful and simple artwork of the "Stila girls", and recently got into buying the cosmetics themselves.. which I must add.. I really need to stop buying haha

I tried my best to imitate the art style as best as possible but still keep it a little bit original. The most fun was the wiggly lines!

In any case, Weather (real name: Beth McKenzie) is.. kinda hard to describe? I dunno if anyone will get the references but she's part of a project I've been working on for a while now. It's kinda complicated and I'm sure I'll explain it eventually, but I love her to pieces! And as for Stila nerdyness, she's intended to be wearing Stila Golightly Eyeshadow and Starfruit Lip Glaze Stick. Mmm Starfruit!

She was sketched on A4 paper, then redrawn in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. All fonts, effects, patterns etc were digitally added in Photoshop. All patterns used are stock!

Weather is mine, and so is this art! Inspired by the artwork of Stila Cosmetics by Caitlin Dinkins

oooh update

And pretty at that. I had never heard of Stila before *shifty eyes* but I just fell in love with the "Indian Summer" Collection. lol DO WANT!

*shot* Anyways! Nice job, I think you did well imitating the still, but all the while it still has the flare of your work. I'm in love with her eyes, and the hand. XD I REALLY like the way you draw hands.

Your character is really pretty too. Keep up the great work dear. Congrats on the 2 pages of deviations too btw!
