Commissions

Now it's the summer and I'm free from University work, I'm looking to get a little extra money from commissions. I've been asked a few times about commissioning, and I'm happy enough with my artwork to be confident enough to do some! Plus I need money to fund my summer spending

Regarding pricing, this is merely a guideline of what I feel my artwork is worth. Keep in mind that all artwork is original and would be custom-drawn for your commission! The majority of artwork offered (marker & digital) can take up to 5 days to complete.. I guarantee you quality!

There are examples of most catergories available - some are a little outdated, but examples noneteheless! For styles that don't have examples, feel free to request examples and I'll dig some out from somewhere for you.

I mainly draw in an anime/manga style; if this is not the style you're looking for, please look elsewhere!

Content Restrictions

I am welcome to draw most things, but I have to draw a line somewhere. Here are some brief guidelines regarding what I will and will not draw:

No images containing excessive numbers of characters. I'm happy to draw 1, 2, 3 and possibly 4 depending on situations, poses and the size I am drawing at. This is very flexible though. If you are worried I may not draw your request depending on character number alone, ask me and we can work something out.

I'm not great at drawing animals - if you are wanting an image entirely based around animals, please look elsewhere. However, if your image contains animal mascots of any kind, I am happy to draw them!

I will not draw any kind of hentai or porn. I am happy to draw ecchi to an extent, e.g. pantieshots and underwear images, but no explicit nudity (e.g. nipples).

I will draw images of self-harm, drug use, alcohol, smoking etc, but at my own discretion.

I don't want to seem biased or racist from what I draw so please, no overly-religious requests. I am however happy to draw imagery such as crosses if they are part of the character or image at hand.

On the whole, if I feel uncomfortable drawing what you request, I reserve the right to refuse your request. While I am happy to draw most things, please respect whatever choice I make regarding your requests

Additional Information

All artwork, as previously stated, is completely originally drawn! No art requested will be plagiarised or copied from existing artwork.

I am willing to draw fanart for commissions, but prefer drawing original artwork to prevent copyright issues. I don't want to be sued!

Regarding original character artwork; if you want me to draw your character, you must provide examples of how they look or a highly detailed description. Any errors regarding accuracy or design are non-refundable if you do not give me good enough examples - I'm only human!

I also welcome commissioned artwork of my own characters. Highly unlikely, but it's worth a shot!

Digital Artwork

Digital images vary in size depending on what you order.

Sketches are roughly 2x smaller than a fully coloured digital image - I scale all digital sketches up in size to line & colour images to allow for extra detail. On average, a completed digital image can size to around 2000px-3000px in height or width depending on the image ratio.

Buying a fully coloured digital image, lined or painted, includes the cost of the full image, a copy of the sketch and where applicable the lineart of the image to keep at their original ratios without watermarks.

Marker Artwork

Finalised marker artwork, unfortunately, does not come with the original sketch or lineart. All of my marker work is done from scratch on the original sketch. I am, however, more than happy to take photographs of the original sketch and lines and forward them to you.

In the case an original sketch or planning sheet is produced to draw your final request (regarding poses, details, styles, etc), this will also be included with your final image for no additional cost. This is not guaranteed for all pieces as not all pieces may require additional sketches.

However, marker artwork does have the possibility of additional costs. If a marker runs out during drawing as a result of excessive use on your image, or if I am caused any major inconveniences as a result of your commission, I may request an additional cost to be added. At most this will be £3, pushing the maximum total to £18 for a full A3 piece.

While it may seem unfair, markers and marker pads are expensive, and running out or wasting sheets of paper is costly for me to keep replacing. The markers I use (Letraset Tria) cost £4.75 each for a single colour - considering I usually keep at least 4 seperate shades of 1 colour for shading purposes, adding a cost of £3 is tiny compared to what these markers cost me, especially when I use (on average) at least 25 different markers.

Please keep this in mind when ordering and make sure if need be you can cover these additional costs!!

Postage & Payment

For traditional artwork, if you want the original copy rather than a scan or a photo, shipping costs will have to be added to your "order". This will cover the costs of buying an envelope or tube to ship your commission in and postage to wherever you live.
Depending where you live, shipping costs will vary between £3 and £5.

Payment is accepted through paypal or via post - I prefer paypal, but if need be, via post is welcome!

How to Order

If you want some of my artwork, leave me a comment here or drop me a note. Tell me the details of what you want, which medium, size, etc. From there we will work out the rest of the order and proceed. "Orders" can take up as an extreme to 2 months to complete, but I promise I'll be as quick as possible with your picture!
